4. The big announcement (Drive mate Referral Program)
1.1 How to get Drive mate credits
Share the REFERRAL LINK with your family, friends, & coworkers to earn & save some extra income. Invite them to join Drive mate.
Share your link >> Invite people new to join Drive mate, by the shared link.
Tell friends to rent or host a trip - Friends who sign up for Drive mate with your code will get a $25 credit.
Earn Drive mate credits - When a referred user completes a trip you will get $100 or $25 depending on if the user is a host or guest.
The ‘Earn & save even more’ referral program by Drive mateallows members to earn promotional credits termed ‘Travel Credits’ toward future trips by referring friends to become new users on Drive mate. Members simply need to agree to the following terms to participate, which become part of the Drive mate Terms of service.
1.2 How to Earn Referral Travel Credits
You can earn Travel Credits by referring friends to Drive mate. If a friend clicks on your referral link and signs up for an account that meets our Terms of Service, you'll earn a Travel Credit. The amount you earn depends on whether your friend takes a Qualifying Trip or hosts their car for a trip.
(Qualifying Trip - The person you refer must book and complete their trip for you to earn Travel Credits. If they cancel their trip at any time, it won't count, and you won't earn Credits).
If your friend takes a Qualifying Trip, you'll earn $25 in Travel Credits.
If your friend hosts their car for a trip, you'll earn $100 in Travel Credits.
1.3 How to redeem travel credits?
Travel Credits may only be redeemed via the Drive mate Platform and in line with our credits redemption policy.
a) Rent your car with Drive mate and get paid in cash. Hosts will get the entire travel credits added to their monthly payout after hosting a successful trip. For e.g, if you have $100 credits, as soon as you host a successful trip, this entire $100 amount is automatically added to your earnings.
b) Get discounts on renting a car on Drive mate. You can redeem discounts up to $20/trip. For e.g., if you have $60 in credits, you can redeem $20 in a single trip and split your balance over three trips.
Both hosts and guests on Drive mate can benefit from the travel credits they receive. The travel credits can be redeemed on any Drive mate trip by hosts & guests. Credits do not expire; you can get back to the Drive mate help center in case of any clarifications.
You can't earn Travel Credits by signing up for more than one Drive mate account. And, if you have more than one Drive mate account, you can't combine the Travel Credits from those accounts into one account.
If you think there's a mistake with the number of Travel Credits you have, please contact us. We might need more information from you to figure out what's happening. And once we look into it, we'll let you know what we found and will do about it.
Credits do not expire. Drive mate reserves the right to cancel your account or reservations if fraud, tampering, violations of these terms, Drive mate's Terms of Service or Payments Terms of Service, or technical errors are suspected. Additionally, refunds are void where prohibited. If your reservation later qualifies for a refund, the maximum refund you may receive is the amount you paid.
1.4 Multiple Referrals
If you refer a friend, they can only use one referral link. If they receive referral links from multiple members, only those associated with the link they used will receive travel credit.
You can't combine the program with other Drive mate referral programs or incentives.
1.5 Severability
If any part of the terms is invalid, void, or unenforceable, that part will be struck, and the rest of the terms will still apply.
1.6 Termination and Changes
Drive mate may suspend or end the Referral Program or a user's capacity to participate in it at any time. This could be because we notice some activity that could be abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of the terms and conditions of Drive mate referral program. If this happens, we'll investigate and take necessary and appropriate measures.
The types of services and products you can get by using Travel Credits can change anytime, so it's always good to check and see what's available. You might be surprised at what you can get!
1.7 Updates to the Terms
We may update these terms at any time and without prior notice. If we make any changes to these terms, we'll post those changes on the Drive mate website, apps, or services, which will go into effect once posted. By continuing to participate in the Program after any changes are made, you agree to those modified terms.
