Had a great experience!
Oshada•July 2025•
My family and I rented this car to go to interstate vacation (Melbourne - Canberra - Sydney - Canberra - Melbourne) and we love this car so much! The fun driving, the engine power, and the convenience for passengers, it served us very well. The only concern was the keyless feature. We have one situation in a windy winter night in Canberra where we couldn't open the door through the app. I contacted the drivemate admin and they couldn't open it too. Fortunately, the door was opened 20mins later. Other than a keyless concern, this car is superb! Thanks Amy!

Host was friendly after notifying that the car was dirty on collection. Also had less than half a tank of petrol when we picked it up. Also had to advise host of large whiteboard in the back that we could not fit with our luggage which we had to leave at pickup point. We were also approached by hotel staff annoyed at the car being parked out the front. Car did the job for the week but not exactly what we’d hoped for.

Host was very responsive. Great ride for a family of 6 to 8. Good upgrades in terms of screen, and added features.

Great little car, very fuel efficient, drives well. Only thing is, was a tad dirty inside and out. But didn't effect our experience therefore 5 stars still. Little tip for future renters - only use the keyless access through the app. When using physical key to unlock it trips the demobiliser and the car won't start! Had to call the owner to sort out. (FYI - to fix, you just lock and unlock the car through the app again)

Drive smoothly
Yong Yan•December 2024•
The experience was good overall. However, I would like to suggest ensuring that the petrol tank is always at the same level when the car is given to customers. I received the car with less than half a tank, which makes it difficult for me to return it at the same level. A full tank policy would make the process much smoother and more convenient.

Easy communication outside from the app not working for pickup and delaying us leaving for 30 minutes. Not fault of the host.

Quick response from Ami B. Car didn't feel safe driving in torrential rain. Car spun out on a wet patch near a round about.
Ana•October 2024•
An absolutely fantastic host/van, the van is very well maintained and I could not fault the host, Ami. Who went above and beyond to fix up a very understandable an error, not on Amis behalf by the way. Had extremely quick responses, was really helpful in making my experience working with Ami and Drive mate, just another awesome experience. Thank you Ami Very Kind Regards Dylan

Get little car to get around. The app didn’t track the location upon pick up that well and had to walk in the rain to find it but that had nothing to do with Barbies performance and energy!
