Great car!

I had a good experience with the VW Golf overall. It’s a nice little car, was clean and tidy inside, drove well and was economical on fuel. It was comfortable and did what I needed it to do during the hire. There were a few things worth mentioning for future renters. The exterior showed some signs of previous accident repairs, particularly around the front and bonnet, which didn’t appear to close quite as well as it should. Each time the car was started, a warning came up saying that Front Assist wasn’t working, which may possibly have been related to the previous repairs. I also found that the windscreen wipers weren’t performing particularly well when I needed to clean the windscreen, as the blades appeared to be due for replacement. Overall, the car was perfectly usable and drove well, but I think these issues are worth being aware of and would hopefully be addressed for future renters.
