Host is great and very helpful. There are however two so critical flaws, that made the experience bad. 1. The car is in a deep basement garage, which means that internet connection is essentially gone. Since the app requires to be connected when doing the pickup, I had to ascend to the ground multiple times to upload the needed photos in each stage of the pickup. This flaw cannot be mitigated if the location of the pickup remains the same. 2. The car key that is included does not have capability to lock all doors of the car. There is no electric buttons on the key, just a manual key and the central locking of the car does not work then locking manually. The only way to lock the car while parked is using the app. However, you need internet and the Drive Mate app to work to lock the car. One time I was not able to unlock the car after parking, so I used the key to unlock the car. This set off the alarm of the car. These flaws could be mitigated by offering a car key with an electronic locking/unlocking option. If these flaws are not corrected, I would not recommend renting the car.

Overall, the car was good and comfortable for the trip. Mari was excellent very friendly car owner and communicated clearly throughout the entire journey. If you’re looking for a reliable car for your trip, this vehicle is highly recommended. There was a slight squeaky noise from the brakes at very low speeds (around 10–5 km/h). Also, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto were not connecting during the trip.

This car needs serious maintenance - it felt unsafe to drive at times. There is a concerning ticking/crunching sound when braking which felt like they may have given way at any point. It was unsettling to see it hadn’t been serviced since 2023, honestly, I should have cancelled the booking. While you did help us resolve the CarPlay issue relatively promptly, I was shocked to see that I was then charged $1.50 for it - something that the car was advertised to include. It’s a shame as I’ve rented from you a few times now, I sincerely hope you service your fleet.

Great host, good to drive when the weather is sunny. Easy to find parking but the signals of the car hand brake cause issues and delays to start. I don't mind the car body was crashed in driverside when picking up. Cleaning is not good as some rubbish or soil leftover. As a old car. It is fine to drive. Return parking is smooth.

Great host, fast and friendly after DRIVEMATE app falsely overcharged my card after return the car on time. Fuel reimbursement $20 of DRIVEMATE is not received after a week And previous fuel reimbursement $12 is not received after 5 weeks chasing. Car is fine for short trip with old mechanic issues of the chairs, chips and dents, scratches on old car body. DRIVEMATE map led to wrong carpark.
