Longer than expected validation - over the advertised 2 hrs - the car was very grubby inside and out, and parked 8 kms away from advertised location- didn’t know the address until after payment meaning an unexpected uber fare- pick up pics did not upload as site froze - no up front reminder to keep a receipt for fuel top up though it should be obvious from start- finish kms left- still waiting on a response regarding reimbursement of uber fare - not recommended!!

On pick up, car was stinking with the smell of Cigarettes such that I had to keep washing my clothes during the length of the rental. The interior was filthy. Exterior was no better. I would not recommend this car for rental until the host details it and stops smoking! The true audacity was that I heard the host attempted to blame me so he could get a Cleaning Fee from Drive Mate.

Nice and clean car but the smell wouldn’t go. It’s not cigarette, it’s something strong. Wont hire the car again! OH&S issue while driving with kids

The car pick up was the wrong location ended up delivering an hour late The car battery died 3 times during our trip, had to ask people to jump start our car. The car was filthy. Nail clippers, hair bands, pringles cans all left in the car for us to clean up. The car smelled like rotten eggs I’d recommend not renting this car and am looking for a refund or discount price as the trouble of the car and inconvenience experienced was not worth what we paid.
