Barryās van was affordable and a smooth easy drive. Perfect for moving bulky furniture. I had some trouble with the App crashing which had nothing to do with him, never less he was responsive , super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

Oh boy I hate this app since it really doesnāt like to save bad reviews so Iām writing this again! I did not interact with the host Barry. That said this car is a death trap and will greet you with 5 different warnings popping up when itās startedā¦ letās review them, TLDR closer to the bottom. The hill start assist system doesnāt work, this means that the car will roll downhill as soon as you let go of the brake, making it much like a manual carā¦. Vehicle dynamics control system needs to be checked, this means you will slip and slide around while driving. Emission control system needs to be checked, this is just irresponsible for the environment. ABS needs to be checked, so good luck stopping quickly when itās even mildly slippery outside. Transmission system needs to be checked. This one is surprisingly the MOST dangerous part. What happens is that sometimes the car wonāt go because it wonāt slip into gear after you stop, for instance at a light. To summarize, the car sometimes wonāt go, probably wonāt be controllable while driving, and you might not be able to stop. Also you might hit people while on a hill. The interior was well taken care of, but this thing is dangerous. Barry please fix the car or stop renting it out before someone is killed by this death trap of a car.

Good car. No windshield wiper fluid. Wipers noisy. Lots of ants living in the car (walking most around the outside so there may be a nest in the motor but they also get inside at times). Overall good car thought.

Great little runabout, Honda Jazzās are very reliable and fuel efficient carsš The drivers side window motor was a bit slow when winding up past the halfway mark, so probably better off leaving it up, just incase it stops working. I have already let the owner know. Apart from that the owner was very pleasant to deal with and the car was FANTASTIC! Highly recommendedš„³ Thank you so muchšš

Car was great. It was in the location as stated on the app. Just the app didn't let me conduct the pick up process (again) so I had to manage via phone call and email but the service people were nice and helpful.

Car ran well as expected, however, the AC blowing warm air and it was hot on Saturday. The petrol was very low but not owners fault. And the inside was sandy/dusty but again that is fine for a service like this. Everything else was smooth.

Horrible experience. I rented a Holden Captiva through DriveMate, and when I first picked up the car, everything was working - I was able to start it and drive a little bit to Coles Dee Why. However, after parking, the car wouldnāt start again, showing the message "electronic key not detected." I immediately contacted DriveMate support, and they confirmed that it was an issue on their end that needed to be fixed. However, even after 5 days, they never resolved the issue and completely ignored my calls and messages. The car owner also did not answer a single call or message. Additionally, when I picked up the car, it had no fuel and was quite dirty inside. To make things worse, DriveMate refuses to issue me a refund. This experience has been extremely frustrating, and I would not recommend this service.
