Horrible experience. I rented a Holden Captiva through DriveMate, and when I first picked up the car, everything was working - I was able to start it and drive a little bit to Coles Dee Why. However, after parking, the car wouldn’t start again, showing the message "electronic key not detected." I immediately contacted DriveMate support, and they confirmed that it was an issue on their end that needed to be fixed. However, even after 5 days, they never resolved the issue and completely ignored my calls and messages. The car owner also did not answer a single call or message. Additionally, when I picked up the car, it had no fuel and was quite dirty inside. To make things worse, DriveMate refuses to issue me a refund. This experience has been extremely frustrating, and I would not recommend this service.
