Car was absolutely disgusting inside, full of crumbs found a crushed up biscuit inside a pocket. Central locking doesn’t work. Tried to contact the host to return early and no response. It was easy to locate and available on time.

Good car, drives well. Definitely not very clean or looked after, windscreen wiper liquid was gone, also full of spider webs and dirty inside. But I liked driving it, so all in all was good. Aircon worked well. First time opening the convertible worked, second time I tried, it didn’t.

Plusses: Car drove pretty well and air conditioning was effective. Unfortunately there were a few negatives as well: We could smell engine fumes when the car was running and stationary for more than a minute or so. Most of our trip was in the country and they're was only a faint hint of fumes a couple of times when we stopped at lights on a couple of towns. But during heavy traffic on Parramatta Rd with frequent stopping and moving slowly the fumes were very noticeable and unpleasant. The host advised that fumes when idling were normal for this vehicle. The levers to put the seats back up (after putting them down to access the back row of seats) were VERY difficult to use (they were quite small metal levers only - I imagine that originally there was a plastic part which made the lever larger and easier to use). Some of the doors were quite difficult to open (a couple of ladies in our group were unable to open them). You basically had to slam the driver's door to close it properly. We had an oil warning display about 20km after picking the car up which caused a significant delay as I didn't want to cause damage by continuing to drive - phoning host did not work through the app and DriveMate support were pretty hopeless (although they subsequently assured me that it's not the experience they want their clients to have)

Great car, very spacious. Could do with a bit of a clean both exterior and interior. Cable in car was faulty, but had own so it wasn’t an issue. Has AppleCar play which was a big bonus! Would definitely rent again! 😁

The car wouldn’t unlock or start, and I had to wait for help before it finally worked. Once running, the brakes didn’t feel safe, the windshield was filthy with no washer fluid, and there were spiders and webs everywhere inside. The car was really dirty. Easily the worst and most unsafe rental I’ve ever had, definitely wouldn’t recommend using the car.

Great car. Good for moving big things short distances. Wouldn’t take it on a long trip if I’m honest. Got a lot of Kms on the clock and a bit creaky at times but never let me down so far. Easy pick up and drop off!!

The car was okay. there was some kind of noise on the roof while driving. The car smells fuel inside a lot so once you turn the engine off you could here a fun at the from very loud so I'm assuming that's cooling drown the engine. this should be a thing to address to avoid future hassle. also the cleanliness needs attention too and tyres were really low pressure so it would be great to consider a check out before bookings are about to be pick it up. otherwise you get to find these car just dropped on the street all dirty, smelly and full of spiders web. bit disappointing.

It was fun to rent! It is an older car and vibrated a lot when in park stopped at traffic lights. The interior wasn’t the cleanest and the exterior windows were dirty which made driving at dusk difficult.

Sandy is definitely a great host and communicator. Issues with car: 1) interior stinks partly due to the fact that car is parked next to 20 rubbish bins 2) no cruise control or it's doesn't work 3) to fold seats some lever is not functional 4) the very last seat is out of track and is very noisy throughout trip 5) SRS notification on dash boards-unsafe 6) back seat belt doesn't work 7) car is good to drive but with above concerns I felt it's not worth the price

The experience with the host was great, quick replies. The car had a lot of minor damages both inside and outside. The exterior was dirty and full of spiderwebs. I had to give it a scrub at nearby gas station before the trip. The convertible roof works great, it was very nice 👍
