Car is in a terrible location, up on the 6th floor of a dodgy car park that has extremely narrow corners while exiting and took us 30 minutes just to start the trip, take photos and get out of there. Doesn’t mention it’s on the 6th floor either, just says what bay it’s in so we guessed what level the car was on, terrible instructions on how to locate the car, you need to go inside the supermarket to find the elevator to get up - even though this only took us a few minutes to work out it should have been stated in the instructions. Tail lights are falling off and taped on with tape. Wouldn’t hire again.

This van IS NOT in pristine condition inside or out. Body damage on most panels and the petrol cap needs a key wedged into to open. Interior plastic is cracked and the arm rest for the drivers seat is broken also dirty inside. We wondered if we were pulled over if the van would be roadworthy. It did the job for what we hired it for but would not recommend hiring. It was embarrassing to arrive at someone home for a pickup and actually apologised for the look of the van Look for something better.

Fine Van, just terribly difficult to get the van unlocked, it didn't work like supposed to be, please just go with a keylock on the outside instead of this tech fail, I had to jump on the phone with a terribly English speaking asian lady and before it was resolved I was already 45min in, taken away drive time which I should get refunded

Hi Terry, Thanks again! The car was easy to drive, and the trolley was quite helpful. However, I wanted to let you know that the car’s temperature rose quite high on three occasions during the trip, and the engine warning light came on a few times. I had to stop twice because steam was coming from the front of the car. Other than that, it did the job!

Not roadworthy. Insurers will not pay. Drive at own risk. I paid up front and tried to get my money back before I used it. Drive mate and owner would not allow the reimbursement. All the negative reviews are true. No trolley, Broken side door, frayed drivers seat belt, bald tyres. The condition is astonishing. Decide carefully if you use this vehicle.

the van worked well, but there were many dents and marks, which is fine if you didn't have to photograph everything, then the door didn't unlock so had to contact drivemate which is not the owners fault. these issues meant I didn't get away until half an hour after start time after arriving at the car 10 minutes early. all this meant I couldn't get the jobs I wanted to do in the time unless I spent more money.

The van is not compliant. The rear light was taped. It is not possible to open the back door without removing the tape and the light comes off. The parking is on level 6 with so many turns.

car is in very poor condition, this was the most inconvenient car I have leased through DriveMate or uber carshare. only op[ens with a key from passenger side, only locks from driver side, side door some times opens, sometimes not possible to open with the key, fuel door always popping open, everything worn down and torn... very expensive price for the poor condition of the car

Everything was fine, however the van has an incredible amount of damage on it and the description is very misleading regarding the condition if you need something that looks good. That said, it drives great and comfortable. Ina. Great location with lots of free unlimited parking around which is helpful if you need to leave your car. Van is also remote locking/unlocking so no need to collect the key from anywhere. So other than condition description id highly recommend.

The vehicle is in deplorable condition. Extremely dirty, it looks like it hasn't seen water in years and that it was taken from an abandoned warehouse. Full of cobwebs on the dashboard, cobwebs on the broken radio, and on the outside. The maintenance is really deplorable. Brakes are not good, the turn signal light is hanging off. The van was not empty, and there were bed rails inside. The vehicle's location instructions are not clear. The pickup address provided by the owner in the app is not correct. The vehicle is parked on another street. Good luck to anyone who wants to rent this. Disgusting experience.

The host is good and responsive and helpful but unfortunately the van was extremely dirty and unsafe. The brakes are almost non existent . It’s soooooo dirty. Badly needs a wheel alignment and tyres need pumping/ some need replacing. This van would not currently pass a roadworthy. Way too expensive for what it is
